SEHRI SPECIAL..... DAM PUKHT KEEMA...... QUICK AND EASY



Ingredients required......

Chicken keema /mince     1 pound




Onions           3 Medium


Garlic cloves       6-7 cloves



Ginger          1 small piece


Green chilies       4-5 medium


Fresh cilantro       2 tablespoon chopped




Tomatoes      2   medium


Red chili powder    1  teaspoon



Paprika powder    1  teaspoon



Black powder    1  teaspoon








Whole garam masala      1  teaspoon




Turmeric powder   Half  teaspoon



Bay leaf         1



Whole coriander     1  tablespoon



Salt       1 teaspoon OR  to taste




Cooking oil     1  cup




Steps of cooking.....

1.  Add water in the cooking pot and then add chicken mince. Turn on the flame.

2.  After that add all the spices including salt and bay leaf in the pot with one onion only, 6 cloves of garlic and 1 small piece of ginger.

3.  After 10-15 minutes when the added water plus the mince water goes dry. Add oil and tomatoes  and remaining 2 onions. If required add little bit of water to prevent the mince from burning. 

4.  After 15-20 minutes when the onions and tomatoes is done. Stop cooking and then add green chili  and cilantro and cover the mince for 5-6 minutes.

     SERVE WITH NAAN OR PARATHA
